Machines connected via OPC UA and MQTT — OEE visible live, MTTR cut significantly.
A machine builder wanted to monitor its five CNC lines and three presses in real time. Until then there was no automatic downtime recording — breakdowns only came to light at the shift handover.
RALUS installed edge gateways and connected all machines via OPC UA and MODBUS. A React dashboard shows OEE, downtime causes and maintenance status live — for shift supervisors and plant management.
That transparency made targeted countermeasures possible: OEE rose by 11 percentage points in three months, and mean time to repair fell by 22%.
